The old Treasury

Active since 1993, The old Treasury is run by daughter-and-mother team Laura & Miriam Schmitz. With a passion for beautiful and surprising signed jewelry of exquisite quality, every jewel is carefully selected by certified jewelry valuer and gemologist Laura. 

Each piece in our collection will surprise you with its incomparability; maybe a different design, use of unconventional materials or a maker that you didn’t know yet. Our team will be delighted to explain and tell its story.

 

 

The old Treasury presents a beautiful collection of signed jewelry from the 20th century and special more modern designs.

Our collection is built around three pillars:

• Fine jewelry from established couture houses like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. All these pieces are made of 18k gold and the finest gemstones. 

• Vintage Italian jewelry by lesser-known jewelry ateliers from the 1950s-1980s. Most of these smaller businesses worked for the bigger well-known jewelry Maisons like Bulgari, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. These talented artists are finally getting recognition for their high-quality pieces.

• The classics: We offer a collection of rare, not often seen, pieces by the established jewelry houses like Cartier, Bulgari and Tiffany & Co.
